Sock Puppets: The Presidents from Reagan To Rump (April Fool issue)

No one was surprised that the American Empire collapsed unexpectedly like the Twin Towers. Now that it's all said and done we can talk about it and perhaps gain some perspective on what happened. It was not only that it happened that was the biggest part of the surprise. It was the way it happened that blew everyone's mind. But it's worked out okay so far.

Here's what happened. All 50 states seceded on the same day leaving the President of the United States effectively the President of the District of Columbia and nothing more. It also stopped the United States from writing checks which had the effect of immediately ending the wars the U.S. was presently waging. Perhaps at one time in history people were willing to fight for free, but not in the 21st century. Not Americans at any rate. The effect of the announcement was like a sudden calm had filled the worlds spirit, or like when someone goes "Oooh" at the sight of the Grand Canyon at sunset. The world held its breath briefly.

The results of the unprecedented action on the part of the individual states had far reaching repercussions. The most striking and helpful was the direct result of no longer paying Federal Income Tax.

With an extra two days pay in their pockets after the work week the new found cash caused the local economies to blossom. This growth unlike previous booms when the benefit was from a short term artificially created bubble, was natural growth.

Another additional direct effect of the increased livability of society was a sharp decrease in the xenophobia that had risen to frightening heights under President Ronald Rump and his predecessor Donald Trump. The rest of the world as well had taken a deep breath from the regimen of continuous war and fear and economic hardship. There was a feeling, a sense that something big and good was coming upon them.

The causes for the decision to secede are even more remarkable. I'll try to give an overview of how it all went down.

The reasons have always been present. The causes stem from the struggles of the worker(s) with the corptocracy at it's core. There was a deeper spiritual reason, but we can't get into that area at this time.

All it had taken for the American dream to blossom and die was just a few scant decades of collective bargaining. It was the unions that had made America the land of hopes and dreams for those living there. Before the union's intervention life for the worker was desperate. There was no middle class, only the rich and the poor, the haves and the have nots. The haves were intent on keeping what they had and if the have nots needed to be killed so be it. Such was the struggle of the worker with the corptocracy.

The benefits gained were destined not to last. The battle was renewed by the administration of Ronald Reagan when he broke up Patco, the air traffic controllers union.  He did this at the outset of his disastrous and treacherous reign as the Continuously Forgetful Sock Puppet President of the United States. True to form the Americans loved him. He was cowboy tough and America was kicking ass.  It turned out it was kicking it's own ass, but it didn't know that at the time. Americans were just glad to be looking good and being tough again.

This action set the stage for what would follow. Attacking the Air Traffic Controllers union was like picking someone out of a crowd and killing him as a 'the gloves are off' signal to the corptocracy. The unions and the American Dream were laid to rest by that symbolic act at the beginning of the Sock Puppet Reagan regime.

While it all didn't begin there it took off from there launched by his congenial, warm smile and slow moving cowboy ways.

The discontented spirit of the people leading up to the decision to secede continued building through the administration of the wrinkled old face of his successor.

So it was, through the different acts and changing scenes of the lineage of Sock Puppet Presidents it was soon clear that the only change was a change in Sock Puppets with the same invisible hand inside. Nonetheless it actually got much worse immediately after that.

After that one of the most inept Sock Puppets ever to be POTUS failed in his duties to protect the American Nation and its People. His failure to intercept four aircraft on a sunny day over New York and Washington lead Americans into the unpleasant duty of paying for a war which is designed to never end.

He is retired now and spends his time painting. The war he started cost several trillion dollars which is still being paid for, taken directly from the American Worker's paycheck. His banking friends sacked the economy and now he's rolling in the clover painting masterpieces. Think of all that could have been avoided if only he had done his god damned job on that bright sunny September day.

After the Artist Sock Puppet left office the American electorate chose The Great Disappointment Sock Puppet. He came offering 'change'.  After he had left many felt 'short changed' at his lack of fealty to democratic principles and the common goodness required by the human condition.

All of the above contributed to the watershed moment which made the Trump candidacy a given. During the Trump regime hardly anyone in the nation was well-off enough enough to enjoy what the American Dream was offering. Those who did enjoy the fruits of the American Dream, often did so by resorting to consumer debt which in turn made their lives worse instead of better.

Combine that condition with the struggle against the tide of low wages and the need to hold two or more jobs just to keep from going under. The people were drowning and gasping in a sea of despair. Like those drowning in water grasping for straws to keep afloat they grabbed onto Trump and held on for dear life.

The Trump candidacy seized on the opportunity

created by his predecessors disastrous footsteps. Using the same old malarkey of nationalism, and America's inherent superiority over everyone on the planet he changed the consciousness of the nation. He kept the same old enemies and added 'immigrants' to the list of undesirables. He had promised to 'drain the swamp' of Wall Street malefactors. Once in command he did the opposite. In short the Sock Puppet Trump was moved by the same invisible hand that had set up the conditions for the present social miasma. The same invisible hand that had steered the course of the nation since right after it's inception.

It wasn't long before just about everyone understood they had been fooled. Their sudden freshet of hope turned into a murky sewer of disappointment. There was an upsurge of hate crimes and a decreased livability factor in society. America had lost again. Alas, even the Great Sock Puppet Donald Trump hadn't been able to save America. But he did his best. It just wasn't what was needed and it didn't work.

Surprisingly the Trump regime was not the worst that had ever been. The worst was yet to come. As a result of governmental malfeasance by the time the Ronald Rump Presidency had
commenced 40 % of the major cities in the U.S. resembled Dresden Germany in the aftermath of Allied bombing. Detroit is an excellent example of the trend of the nation's cities. But it was not only Detroit, the American People along with their hopes and dreams were being sucked downward in a dizzy, spiraling vortex of economic despair, political and global uncertainty and fear in every form imaginable. A word of hope was considered a fairytale. That's how bleak the prospects had become.

In the past these conditions were seen as sufficient cause for revolt. Be that as it may Americans have
learned to suffer and endure rather than to rise up in revolt. But the Rump regime did something it came to regret. The entire dismemberment of the nation most likely would never have taken place otherwise.

So here's how it went down. Tyrants always want more authority and always want the subjects to know he or she has that authority and to make sure the subjects respect that authority. Sock Puppet Rump did just that. What he did was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Over the years the American people had been winning in their struggle to regain the right to use marijuana.  Almost 2 / 3 of the states had legalized and enjoyed the regained freedom. The individual states that had legalized marijuana were now realizing the benefits of large influxes of revenue to their state budgets. The decrease in police and

court related expenses added up to savings on the
other end. Rump shutdown legal cannabis businesses because of threats from the religious right which posed a danger to his re-election. However, for the most part the entire populace was aghast! Say it ain't so! Oh no!

It took the stunned nation about three months to respond. This was a record in anyone's book. In that period of time every federal lawmaker was besieged by fellow lawmakers and voters alike on this one topic. Ideas were broached and built up steam and continued building rapidly. New visions for the future gripped the hearts and minds of the people. They could do it, they knew they did not need or want endless war. It was the moment of moments when the tsunami of public discontent finally reached shore. The end came stealthily and abruptly.

In the three months since the crackdown and leading up to the decisive action by the lawmakers the connection of the present problems to all the years since 1980 had been made clear. Trickle Down Economics was just as big a pile of shit as Trump's wall. The Rump presidency was the logical conclusion of the purposes of government with regard to the citizen.

However the threads which bind the system of social relations together had begun to fray. The thread which began unravelling afresh with Reagan's attack on the working class and which inexorably lead to what is now acknowledged as an 'endless war', was starting to unravel. The thread was separated further from the fabric when Clinton did away with Glass-Steagall
enabling the destruction of the economy. Society became an incubator for crime which was rising right along with demagogues like Trump and Rump.

From Reagan to Rump the people had bought a pig in a poke for President. They were told to go shopping and not ask any serious questions about why everything sucked so badly. But it was the easy access to hy-grade pot that kept the lid on things when they got real bad.

Just as important the tax revenue aided the individual states in improving the quality of life for its citizens. Both of these factors were what made the current of discontent that had long been kept below the surface for so much of American life go live. It was a Popeye moment when the people had all they could stand and weren't gonna stand for it anymore and for once everyone of their elected representatives saw eye to eye with them.

Lawmakers had worked behind the scenes night and day and weekends for three months. On April 1 a special joint session of both houses was assembled and, according to plan, when the opening gavel slammed down, the plan to secede was put up for a vote and inside of one minute every voice said 'Yea'. The pronouncement was followed immediately by a spontaneous, exuberant chorus of yeas and unrestrained hilarity the size and scope of which the halls of congress had never before contained, nor had it ever been imagined.

Just like that it was finished. And that was the beginning of The Commonwealth of The Individual States of America.

Ten years have come and gone since then.  I bet you're wondering how it all worked out.  So far, so good. It has proceeded just as hoped. First of all ISIS no longer had an enemy to fight because the Federal government lost its income. State armories were confident they could handle anything from ISIS should such a requirement occur. They had most of the same equipment that the military had in their arsenals. Beside that there is a mutual aid agreement among the members of the former Union should things get out of hand. So far it hasn't proved necessary. After the bombing stopped ISIS fighters went back to their herds and families and tried to forget we existed.

More good news is that each state of the former United States has fully legalized marijuana and this act alone has rejuvenated communities all over the land.  Each state and many counties have annual cannabis competitions and fairs where growers, merchants and manufacturers show their wares. There hasn't been a war since the last check of the former Federal Government was cashed. It's costly to wage war without taxpayers footing the bill so war isn't a priority for The Commonwealth of The Individual States of America.

Being liberated in all respects The Commonwealth of The Individual States of America have also become tourist destinations.  The influence of the nascent Cannabis Industry resulted in the offering of low impact, laid back, cushy exotic getaway vacation spots.  Everyplace was wide open and folks enjoyed their newly discovered liberty. From the snow topped mountains, to the prairies, to the ocean, to the fruited plains, to backyards where neighbors are now able to get together without fear and let freedom ring.

It might almost be said removing the Federal Government had been a blessing to everyone the world over, not just Americans. So far The Commonwealth of Individual American States has not had a single terrorist attack. And they have not attacked anyone else either. Everyone envies the freedom in the States now.  The reduction of war in the world is a blessing almost everyone in the world is rejoicing in.

You may be wondering what happened to President Ronald Rump after the break up of the union.  Well, he is now President of The District of Columbia. His Presidential duties include standing in a guardhouse on the sidewalk in front of the deteriorating White House where he greets visitors and signs autographs for $1 each. For $10 he'll let you take a selfie with him.  And for $50 you can take him to dinner any day of the week including Saturdays and Sundays.

President Rump's role is merely a tourist attraction for the city of Washington D.C.  He has no official capacity and if the truth be told the job was created for him out of pity so he could keep his five sons, seven daughters and three wives off the city's welfare rolls.

Like the saying goes: "All's well that ends well."

The Trump Scam Revealed In 1950's TV Show

Take a look at this 1950's episode of "Amos and Andy." Understand what you see as explaining the present day phenomenon of "Alternative Reality" promoted by the Trump Conspiracy.

This episode can be seen as the way the government relates to the people and also reveals the way the people can prevail.

This episode reminds me of the Trump Presidency. Trump is the "Kingfish" character on the American political scene.

"Andy" on the other hand represents the American Electorate which is being fucked over by Trump doing a "Kingfish" on the PEOPLE.

If you haven't seen an Amos and Andy episode this one is a good one to begin with.

Painting With Raindrops And Light

Painting With Raindrops And Light

I happened to have my eye caught by the reflections of branches in a puddle of water in my driveway.

The video is the result of my inquiry.

It's the kind of art one might expect to flourish in the Pacific Northwest.

"Astoria Blues" New video and song.

It was a warm bright sunny day with cottony puffs of clouds here and there under a clear blue sky. I was asked if I wanted to go for a drive to get out of the house after being reluctant to venture out because of seven straight days of rain.  I said; "yes".

I came back with a surprising catch.  A neat video and a song that developed from it all from a few minutes along the side of the road with a camera.

I used music YouTube provided and it really lends an upbeat  Feeling Good vibe.

Hope you  enjoy:  "Astoria Blues"

It's Only Up From Here: poetry video

It's Only Up From Here

Today it rained...
the sun didn't appear
before I went to bed.

I had chicken, vegetables and rice for dinner.
On the news I heard the chicken had been recalled
and the rice had been grown near Fukushima
where there is no domestic market...

But it was a bargain!

...and I have Obamacare...
so there's nothing to worry about...

the sun will shine tomorrow,
Donald Trump told me so;
and Ben Carson is building me a home.

It's only up from here!

The Death of Love (poetry)

"The Death of Love" is a poem I wrote this morning and put into a video.  The poem came to me while pondering the anti-human policies of the Trump Administration.

The poem began with the idea that when people are young and full of life and a hope for the future that love and brotherhood are goals and attributes worth pursuing.

I've seen it all to often that when people get broken down by the cares of life that love and brotherhood are considered to be something like a good suit not often worn.

It's All Fake!

It's all fake.  Fake news, alternative facts, fake critics, fake Presidents.  It's all fake. Every last part of it is fake.

How can such a circumstance built on 'fakeness' come to frame the working reality of an entire populace and adversely affect the entire world?

Sometimes I like to recall the scene in heaven with Satan and God teaching Job a lesson.  Job is one of my favorite bible books, perhaps because its premise seems so implausible. But yet how many times have you felt there was some cosmic power tripping you up from time to time?

By reading and re-reading the ideas I find what I call a 'deeper' understanding about the intent of the book than a casual reading might result in.  I think the purpose of the book is, the lesson it has to teach, is how man should relate to God.  This comes to light in the later chapters during the dialogue.  In chapter 38 God seems fed up with Job and gets in his face in verse three:  "Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me."

God now lays into Job and shows him how ignorant he is.  The point in all this is to lead Job to never falter in the way God works things out because they always work out for the best.  Even if the present moment makes such a thought seem preposterous.  God is teaching Job a lesson about the real nitty-gritty of the meaning of faith. Don't trust the one who doesn't have the knowledge, Job and his buddies in this case, trust your Maker which obviously has the knowledge.

In Chapter five the proposition opens up the inquiry into the nature of the cosmic secrets of the universe and the meaning of the experience of life.  6 Although affliction cometh not forth of the dust, neither doth trouble spring out of the ground;

The passage above leads me to think in
the following way. Trouble, conditions such
as the mess the world finds itself in now,
don't grow from the natural world the way
crops do, but yet trouble seems to be the
lot of human existence. This conclusion
leads me to think it is mankind which by
virtue of Their decision making capacities
that have been the driving forces behind
much of the misery which is mankind's
lot. In other words it's the things we've
thought and done that have created this
Godforsaken present moment in history
that is eating us alive!

We're not as smart as we think we are
the lesson comes back to Job and to the
rest of us who read the work today.

I love reading the book.  It's an artful, well
written and conceived work of ancient
literature that addresses the timeless
features of human existence which
humanity encounters at every period of
Their existence.

We humans have created a fake
everything from the bottomless pit of
our imagination by the misuse of our
decision making faculties. This must be
fake way of conducting human affairs if
the consequences are the present result!
This isn't what we were hoping it would
turn out to be is it? That's because it is
FAKE from top to bottom.

My personal feeling is that humanity has
made the choices It has made due to a
misunderstanding about the nature of
Their existential experience which
amounts to a life of suffering in one way or
another.

It makes sense that if humanity were to
change its mind about what it's being
here is about that a more positive
condition would be more likely to arise.
Something positive would be a lot better
than the present Fake Trump Presidency
is offering us.

My gut feeling is that the human race is in
a transformational phase of its
experience.

Transformational in the sense
that the despair created by the FAKE
Social INSTITUTIONS characterized by the
principalities and powers supporting the
Fake Trump Presidency is now bearing
fruit along with the growing recognition of
the utter failure their social systems have
displayed themselves to be.

In place of those
failed and
disgraced
institutions
will appear new
ideas in many
hearts all around the world
arising from the universal cry to maintain
truth and justice at all costs,
institutions imbued with justice
and good will for all will be created
because in our heart of hearts this is what
90 % of us want the world to be like.

We have created the present world
condition out of a mistaken sense of self
and supported with values related to that
mistaken sense of self.

Fake Values for a FAKE SOCIETY.
By affirming values that reflect our hearts
desire for peace and goodwill the world
can be transformed one heart at a time.
We simply have to change our mind.

That's why I can't help but cling to the
notion that there's something about being
a resident of this universe that eliminates
the need to worry too much about how
things will turn out. There's more than
meets the eye to being human.

In this present FAKE SOCIETY that very
important spiritual concept is denied.
Look around and you'll see what the result
is.  A Fake President. Totally Fake. A
society built on anti-human FAKE values.

President's Day Cancelled This Year (Pie In The Face News)

This year due to the uncertain circumstances as reported in CrimeWire, as well as virtually every other media outlet, surrounding the Presidential election the traditional celebration of the holiday is being suspended by public opinion.

The majority of Americans have lost interest in having anything to do with President Trump or anything he has to say.

They also have lost confidence in the media which has failed to pick up on the fact that there are more possibilities available to aid the American people than Republicans or Democrats care to imagine.

The lowering of the bar which allowed a Trump Presidency reveals the spiritual decline of the nation. Truth and justice are no longer automatically associated with the American Way under the Trump Administration. This report by Think Progress gives just a sample of Trump lies that have taken the joy out of the American Spirit and replaced it with fear and uncertainty as this report in Rolling Stone reveals.

A resulting glom has overtaken the nation like a plague. The Guardian reveals why. At first it appeared as if there was no will to resist left in the heart of the American people who have seen their lives grow progressively more difficult and fearful since the 1980's. But the popular support for refusing to celebrate President's Day 2017 belies the idea that the American Spirit has been completely stamped out by the anti-human goals and initiatives reported by The Atlantic concerning the Trump Administration.

All of these features of the Trump Administration have caused the collective angst of the populace to demand that no President's Day celebration be held this year or in any year in which Donald Trump is President.  The rallying cry which galvanized the nation and raised the almost dead Spirit of America back to life was "No way, Jose."

Those words, whether they portray an actual event, or were actually spoken are attributed to an unknown member of the Sanctuary Movement and they reveal the depravity and anti-human nature which is at the heart of the Trump Presidency.

So how did the phrase come to motivate the people to take such a decisive and unprecedented action? The story is told of the pastor of a Sanctuary Church clasping to his chest a small boy who is trembling and shaking with terror and stricken with the fear of being sent back across the border to his death by Trump.

With tears streaming down both their faces, witnesses say, the unnamed pastor hugged the little boy as if never to let him free from his grasp while repeating over and over the now familiar rallying cry: "No way Jose, they will never send you away."

And that is how President's Day during the Trump Presidency has been removed from the list of national holidays.

If you're thinking that it isn't fair or even right to make up stories about the President just remember the story about George Washington and the cherry tree wasn't factually correct either.

The Turtle Log: an allegory of the messenger effect

The Turtle Log is an allegory of the spirit of the present moment in time.

A moment when deceit is the apostle of truth.

A moment when up and down are in doubt.

A moment when all the world has become unintelligible.

This is the moment to shut off the news
and spend time alone.

For months. Longer if necessary.

Do not let yourself adjust to
or accept the constant lying as the norm.

If you do, you are lost!!!

By eliminating the language of liars from your mind you will remove the intended effects
of the messengers of deceit
and restore equilibrium
so that you can once again
evaluate your experience rationally.

It is not possible to make sense of mad men
when it is they who provide the explanation.

They ain't selling what you want anyhow.
It's not like you're going to miss anything.

Illusions: Commentary on the Human Predicament

Some thoughts I put together on the human condition from a reading of the Book of Job.  Some thoughts about the illusion most often encountered by the human being.

The solution to a life embroiled in illusion is revealed in multiple spiritual disciplines.  Today the new physics exploring consciousness gives credibility to the old mystical spiritual traditions by explaining the human predicament by the model of a virtual reality.

Presidential Health Care Amendment Now Law: Pie in the Face News Editorial

Congress overwhelmingly passed the Presidential Health Care Amendment today mandating regular psychiatric evaluations for those occupying the White House during the term of each sitting President with additional evaluations required on demand of the taxpayer by the means of a national referendum.

This much needed legislation takes effect immediately. President Rump responded to news of the impending legislation by calling it an attack on himself and his family enterprises.

His reaction was predictable. As expected the Presidential Health Care Amendment was immediately vetoed by President Rump, but the veto was quickly overturned, as expected, leaving President Ronald Rump tweeting that the people's decision was merely "the barking of slinking curs looking for an alley to raid a garbage can."

During a searing and insulting series of 'tweets' he referred to the American people as fools and dupes of a dishonest judiciary and media and that he was their only hope and they'd better wise up.

This unexpected, but much needed legislation, is seen as a response to President Rump's placement of alien-extraterrestrial intelligences in positions to guide the destiny of the United States.  This is reminiscent of the scandal involving Rump's predecessor who sold out to the Russians. That experience had barely faded from memory by the time the Rump Cabal seized control justly alarming the populace.

In response to the new legislation President Rump has warned he can bring down fire from heaven and that his detractors should be wary of falling under the Wrath of God.

Meanwhile it would be less than honest to say that the American People and the world as well are holding their collective breath as this crisis of extraterrestrial treachery is being sold to the American people as the new normal defined by Alternative Facts provided by the Ronald Rump Administration and his alien advisors.

Rump's opposition claim the result of his economic and political policies would be a return to a form of feudalism or a company store kind of existence for the average citizen.

Americans are just waking up to their stupidity in choosing Rump as their savior. The world looks on in wonder as America shakes it's head and gasps for air and fresh clean water.

Some Lessons From The Waterside

In this small pond a number of different creatures live. They get along well with each other sharing themselves and their environment.

These daunting times are the most important moments of our collective human experience. We know the kind of people who have taken over, we know their goals and institutions have no intention of improving our well being or seeing to it that our needs as human beings are being met.

These institutions have proven themselves to be anti-human by waging unprovoked wars and engaging in the denial of aid to refugees from those wars and by denying aid to the citizens at home.

Building a wall to starve children is anti-human. There is no way it can be successfully argued that starving children is what the founding fathers had in mind. But yet starving children, if they are called 'illegals', is perfectly politically correct under the Trump regime. We are on the verge of losing our soul with this kind of policy.

We know these things are anti-human.  We cannot allow ourselves to become anti-human simply because the institutions which run  our lives are anti-human.

Avoid their information, sit by the waterside, and reclaim your own mind with your own common sense.  Turning off the news is the way to reclaim your humanity.

It's time to say "Fuck you" to anti-human policies and the way by which anti-human policies are produced and encouraged.

Alternative Facts: the poem by David H. Roche

I made a brief video on the topic of ALTERNATIVE FACTS after being inspired by the Trump Administrations creative way of using the language as a weapon against the American People. In an article posted February 9, 2017 in Truthdig Sonali Kolhatcar exposes the technique being employed as an offensive weapon against the minds of the American people by the Trump Administration.  Meanwhile ALTERNATIVE FACTS messenger in an article published in Truthdig February 9, 2017 Kellyanne Conway is reported to have breached the law while promoting the product line of the President's daughter.

It is highly doubtful Ms. Conway will be held accountable for her actions.

I spoke the poem into the microphone so there is no written copy.
